Hey beautiful subscribers!

I’ve been deep in school holidays with my two boys the past week – cooking, hanging out and also baking! I made this cake on the last day of the school term for an end of term picnic and it was the biggest hit! The key is really ripe bananas and the freshly ground cardamom. It of course will still work with already ground cardamom and you could also use ground cinnamon instead!

This cake is SO delicious and has the most fluffy and buttery crumb. The perfect long weekend bake!

I use frozen blueberries which are an absolute staple in my house. I use them in cakes but also for smoothies, on chia puddings and simply to top yoghurt or porridge – so handy to have on hand.

Thank you as always for subscribing and supporting my work and I hope you enjoy this recipe!
